Modern Italian food is a joy at Terra e Mare in Studio City
There’s a very lively and comfortable bar at Terra e Mare — a casually elegant Modern Italian restaurant at the western edge of Studio City, in the space that was formerly a forgettable restaurant called The Bellwether. You sit at the right side of the bar, and you can chat with the affable mixologist about the joys of the white called Lachryma Christi from Campania winemaker Mastroberardino, or why there’s a need for a Vegi Martini. (Do Martinis usually have meat in them?)

Sophie Gayot visited TERRA e MARE this week, and we are thrilled to be part of the prestigious lifestyle guide that bears her name.
First off, I need to give kudos to restaurateur Stelian Tasu for opening a restaurant in the middle of the pandemic! Tasu is also the owner of the Studio City trattoria Pagliacci located a few blocks away. There he specializes in pizzas and pasta — homemade of course. Here at Terra e Mare Ristorante he wants to take his passion for Italian cuisine to another level.
Until we are able to serve guests in our dining room, we are open daily for dine-in service on our heated patio. We follow all health department guidelines for social distancing, our tables and chairs are cleaned and disinfected for each guest and masks are required when entering the restaurant or leaving your table. For our friends who are not quite ready for full-service dining, online ordering is available through ChowNow for pick-up only. We look forward to serving you the San Fernando Valley’s best Italian meats, seafood and pasta!
